Competition Directions

Each student will recite, word for word, the lessons from the Supreme Wisdom. At every competition level, students will be ranked based on who recited the largest portion of the Supreme Wisdom with the least errors. All students will recite the Supreme Wisdom in the following order:

  1. The Actual Facts

  2. The Student Enrollment 

  3. Lost-Found Muslim Lessons #1

  4. English Lesson No. C1

  5. Lost-Found Muslim Lesson No. 2

Recitations will occur live via zoom or in-person between February 21-23 .

Scoring

For each Lesson recited, students will be scored in the following scores:

  • 1 pt: Lesson is partially memorized and needs prompting often.

  • 2 pts: Lesson is partially memorized, pauses often to recall.

  • 3 pts: Lesson is mostly memorized, but the speaker might pause frequently to recall or need to be prompted.

  • 4 pts: Lesson is mostly memorized, but the speaker might pause occasionally to recall or need to be prompted.

  • 5 pts: The Lesson is fully memorized.

Competition Levels

Students will be ranked in comparison to peers at the following levels:

  • Lower Elementary – Grades 2-3

  • Upper Elementary— Grades 4-5

  • Middle School – Grades 6-8

  • High School — Grades 9-12 

The TOP THREE Students in each Category will be the winners - and rewarded accordingly!

Presentation Attire

Boys: Brothers must be dressed in either a full school uniform (Blue Slacks, White Dress Shirt, and Bow-Tie) or a full-suit. Hair will be short, preferably tapered in the back, combed, with no long sideburns. Tight fitting attire is prohibited.

Girls: Girls must wear their modest attire in compliance with the guidelines of the Muhammad University of Islam dress. Tight fitting attire is prohibited.
